A very wise dear old early 1905 Steiff BLANK button 9.5 inch Steiff bear with button still in his ear. Milo is incredibly furry with at least 95 % coverage. Hand pads original, inserst/repairs to fot pads, he really is a wonderful character wearing his very special velvet braided jacket. To top of his back leg there a small light green tinge but aprt from thsi he is asuper little bear in a soft blode mohaiar. SN/B241 - SN/A434 - SN/A901

NATALIE 18 inch stunning early Centre seam Steiff with Button

1 of the most beautiful centre seam Steiff I have ever seen. A beautifully serene looking early antique Steiff rare centre seam 18 inch bear named Natalie, straight in from a private collection. We supplied Natalie some time ago, she is such a gentle looking old bear. Wearing a stunning satin and lace antique gown, Natalie retains approx 80% mohair coverage, button in ear, 3 original pads now have new felt under with originals overlaid. 4th pad is replaced. She has most mohair wear to her outer arms and a little thinning elsewhere. Her head these days is very slumpy, very secure - a really wonderful early Steiff.

MISS "Adeline" PIMMS

Miss Adeline Pimms is a really prim 1920/30s Chiltern 20 inch bear full of character and attitude. Wearing her lovely vintage outfit and lovely old lace collar she is a bear to take control of a bear hug. Overall she has 80% mohair covearge with some thinning to very top and top back of her head. Her eyes may be replaced but totally in keeping with the originals, linen pads in very good condition for her age. We just love her forthright demeanour!

LIONEL "CHERUB FEATURES" WHAT A BIG 28 inch BABY BEAR!

Lionel is a really big 1940s era English Baby bear, someone embroidered is eyes, mommy stitching by the look of it. His joints are okay and he has worn old socks and a vest for an age, I think his right foot has gone but the socks are very stiff so I daren't pull them off; he has repairs inserts to his pads and we have given him a blunt old tiny penknife to keep with him ( this bear is not for anyone under the age of 18) due to this. About 50% mohair cover left. He is a really dear old boy looking for a new owner and a soft chair - perhaps a stool to prop his legs or shall we say ... socks onto. From a smoke free environment.

Early 1900s Baby Bear Bread, just over 2cms diameter pinback still with Whitehead and Hoag paper insert to the back. It is in remarkably wonderful condition for its age and delightful for an old bear to wear.

RARE WW1 GERMAN RED CROSS STICK PIN

A rare item is our WW1 Fund raiser c1914 -1919 GERMAN RED Cross Stick Pin; it is made of a type of plaster with the original pin and is in excellent condition for its age. A super item for an early Steiff or other German bear to wear on a top or jacket. A very hard to find item.

WINTERGARTEN - EXTREMELY RARE 16.5 inch TIPPED BING BEAR

I am so proud to offer such a rare antique BING "tipped" mohair bear. Wintergarten is almost 16.5 inches in length and now a beautiful beige with highlights of the tipping. He has incredibly soft long luxurious mohair which is almost an inch in length, overall retaining 9o% coverage. A few areas of thinning but he is still incredibly furry.

BELINDA MARY

Belinda Mary has such an endearing little expression. Steiff c1906 antique 12.5 inch bear with STEIFF button in ear, she wears a lovely Chicken and forget me not vintage dress, She has some wear to mohair - but still has a fair covering; long soft fur; original pads with repairs etc. Her mouth and nose stitching are worn away through love over the years. WONDERFUL VINTAGE QUILT IDEAL FOR OLD BEAR DISPLAY

A lovely embroidered vintage baby quilt in lemon and pink with reverse in a soft mauve, in very good condition for age but may neeed a little airing as it has a slight odour of smoke, there is one smallish mark near left hand corner but overall this is a very good vintage item; the embroidery is just lovely with the bears, cat, chicken etc. Full size to be confirmed. RARE WW1 Farnell RED antique Soldier Mascot Bear who comes with many extras: WW1 1914 brass/gilt tin sent to soldiers in France 1914, vintage teddy game, WW1 RARE French card flag 1915, WW1 wounded soldier card Flag, hallmarked silver ARP badge super condition, old key & number 20 brass number, Replica card of WW1 Xmas card sent to trops along with replica Queen/King card from WW1 era & a very tiny antique PUG charm. Ted is very red % furry, lost his ears in action, blown off by canons we suspect, head is now fixed; three of his limbs are stitched, he's seen too much action so needs a restful home!

RARE EARLY STEIFF PETER RABBIT

Extremely rare early Steiff c1904-08 velvet "PETER RABBIT" with his original coat & felt shoes. Totally adorable & in a good size measuring 8 inches plus his ears. He even has his whiskers. Peter wears his original coat with his buttons which have been resecured. Red felt tops of shoes with yellow braid are original which have minimal infill of new felt to give shape, shoe bottoms have new leather as per his original. We believe 1 eye to have been replaced (although one could never tell), some stitched repairs to feet and underarms but apart from as mentioned he is an absolute joy and his profile is just delightful. He would be "The ultimate Easter Gift wouldn't he?"

TINY WILHELM

Tiny Wilhelm is a c1907 German Strunz bear in a wapping big size. He has been handed down within the same family since that time and has a most endearing gentle face. Tiny has an insert of fabric near his neck; there was an L shaped gash to right profile which has been underlined and stitched, 4 limbs have added stuffing, some seams have been overstitched, repair stitching to back has been done, holes to ankles have stitching, insert of fabric to top of nose. BEAUTIFUL LARGE 20 inch 1920s BING BEAR

A beautiful looking antique 1920s Bing Bear with a wonderful profile. He has a lot of soft mohair with good coverage, just a little thinning in places He's a beauty!

FLORRIE A BEAUTIFUL c1908 WHITE 18.5 inch STEIFF BEAR with Button

Florrie : A beautiful white c1908 antique 18.5 inch antique Steiff bear. She is another of our bears who has been in a collection for several years. Florrie has great presence with wonderment in her expression. She has her Steiff button in ear, original eyes, pads, no restoration- tummy seam may have been re secured at some point. Florrie has approx 80% mohair coverage to her front with approx 70% cover to back elevation; there is a small pink tinge to top of left back thigh; Florrie is a lovely cream colour after fading gently over the past 104 years. Most wear is to central back panel of head, back and legs. An exceedingly attractive antique early Steiff bear totally fresh to the market.

FLEETWOOD - BEAUTIFUL RARE 16 inch CENTRE SEAM STEIFF

This bear has a wonderful face and is in exceptional condition for his age and fresh to the market. Fleetwood is a very beautiful c1918 rare 16 inch Centre Seam antique Steiff bear (no button) with a minimum of 95% mohair coverage, original pads with a few small holes. Shaved snout has some old age speckles which adds to his charm. Slight mohair loss to small area to right lower back and a bit of wear to left arm where he was carried. A stunningly handsome old boy.

STUNNING MOYRA 24inch C1918 FARNELL & her Gown from VENICE!!!

MOYRA - is a really pretty 24 inch c1918 Farnell antique bear who wears her gown purchased for her in Venice, Italy. Moyra has 95% mohair coverage in a high grade which is a nice blonde tone. She is very Pooh Bear like with wonderful large dark eyes. She knows she is a very important bear especially after being treated to her cream & lace linen gown brought back from Italy for her to wear. One hand pad with web stitching is still present, other hand pad and claws are replaced. 1 footpad has repairs. She has been cared for so well and we want her to go to a new home where she will always be treasured.

TWEADLE RARE STEIFF "RATTLE" BEAR with STEIFF BUTTON IN EAR

Tweadle - A very cute 5.5 inch high to ears, antique Steiff rattle bear who when you shake him; he rattles inside. Tweadle still retains his STEIFF button in ear, his original nose stitching with part of mouth and wodul once have been a white bear. He is a padless design old bear, no repairs to feet - he just likes wearing old socks, there is damage to last half inch of right paw which si why he was given a bandage, he is very old and basically no fur but an enchanting delightful sweet looking old Steiff.
