My Old Teddy Bear is based in beautiful Cornwall. We specialise in antique and vintage teddy bears as well as dolls with great character and as keen collectors we take a personal interest and care in all of our bears.

At My Old Teddy Bear we offer a layaway plan on any bear subject to status and availability. The way our plan works is 3 equal payments with 1st payment paid as a deposit (non returnable) followed by 2 subsequent payments payable on each consecutive month thereafter, then your bear will be dispatched.

PLEASE NOTE: Once a layaway plan has been entered into it has to be followed through to completion. If a single payment is unpaid on its due date we will charge a 20% late payment fee. If payments are not followed through layaway will be cancelled and deposits forfeited. In addition a layaway bear cannot be exchanged for any other item, this also applies to any clothing included with a bear purchase.

Our expertise and knowledge on antique and vintage bears and dolls has been attained over the last 25 years although our enthusiasm for all old toys goes back much further from childhood.

We ship worldwide and many of our bears have found lovely new homes across the world enjoying new owners and experiences. As one very well known Mexican celebrity's saying goes "a bear can be a true friend" and love you forever!

Henrietta's gallery features many pictures of Henrietta herself as she is our top model along with many of her bear friends. Henrietta is an old Chiltern bear and has been with us since 1995 when she was a gift from my mother a few months after the sudden death of my father so is a truly loved bear.
