C1919 VERY RARE EARLY BING PYGMYPHONE - IN A BEAR SIZE!

A wonderful c1919 BING PYGMYPHONE approx 6 inches square x 3 inches high, the horn etc detaches so it can be neatly srtored within the tin - these are great items to display with bears and are becoming harder to find. There is a key to wind it up with original needle. It will play but centre slot of record is missing so a replacement record is be ideal for bears to be able to enjoy dancing to; pictures to 3 sides, Elves to front, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf to 1 side and Minstrels with Banjos to 3rd side. It does have age wear but is a delightful item. CAH

Squire Trelawney is a wonderful antique Steiff bear c1906 who almost 13 inches high with lots of fluffy mohair is ( no button). He wears a lovely sailor 2 pce suit, there is a little wear but he reatins most of hsi soft mohiar and what a lovely face! B233

TONTO A BEAUTIFUL GREY TIPPED LARGE JOPI ANTIQUE DOGGIE

Tonto is a large antique Jopi swivel headed doggie in very nice condition with hard to find silver and grey tipped mohair, he is adorable! Tonto is 12 inches high to his wired ears and approx 14 inches in length plus the tail!. He has 97% mohair coverage and all original. Foot felt pads still present with one which has a hole. He is a very handsome dog and doesn't bark so will fit in well.

AURICULA A GORGEOUS 1930s ANTIQUE CHILTERN BEAR

Auricula is a gorgeous rare 1930s PINK 15 inch Chiltern antique bear who is all original, linen pads, without holes, she is lighter to her front compared with her back where no UV light would have been so easily accessed. Auricula has 90% mohair cover, she has gentle thinning with a little mohair loss to top of head and is a lovely old bear with her vintage dress and pretty flowers. ASLAN

ASLAN a huge almost 27 inches; extremely heavy rare large early German Strunz antique bear. He's lived with 1 lady owner from his manufacture until her recent passing & is only available to a forever home which was requested. We have no further information. He has lots of repairs so needs to be cared for, this work was carried out 2 years ago, his body is pretty good; main wear to snout & a couple of repairs to top and back of his head. etc. Nose and mouth is resewn, stitched repairs to arms & legs (not bad), replaced felt pads; wearing antique sailor top & vintage sailor bottoms, he's totally adorable.

MISS TOODLEPIP

A very placid 38cm 1920s Bear, possibly an English William Terry bear, as she shows many of their traits; somwhere during her lifetime she has lost one of her eyes; in true light her mohair is a lighter shade, she does have wear to her mohair with lots still present, she is very chunky and a delight to look at wearing her vintage jacket and bonnet. JANE HISSEY LITTLE BEAR

A very cute Little Bear from Jane Hissey Old Bear and Friends.

SUCH CUTE VINTAGE "DUCKLING* BOOTEES FOR LARGER FOOTED OLD BEARS

I have only 1 pair of these scrumptious vintage large bootees for the larger old bears. They have a duckling's head, with yellow felt beak and with felt webbed feet and little knitted wings. These are in loved condition but good aren't they just the cutest thing?

LENA CARSTAIRS

A hard to find 16 inch c1907 Steiff centre seam bear (no button); she is a wonderful looking early Steiff - such a fantastic expression. She wears an antique silk and lace dress, the silk and under silk is shredding so it is fragile but she looks beautiful wearing it. Original eyes, nose stitching looks to be replaced but takes nothing away from her beauty; original foot pads; felt hand pads replaced with linen a long time back. A beautiful looking old girl. RARE EARLY STEIFF 2 PCE SUIT - SWEATER AND TROUSERS

Extremely hard to find an actually early two piece knitted suit - usually only the sweaters are to be found but this an actual antique sweater and pants normallyattributed to Steiff. This suit has the usual fading in places and has a few tiny holes. Often they can be very holey or have lots of pulls but this one I consider good for age. Shown modelled by a 13 inch early furry Steiff to give a guide to fit. He is available to buy on our website on his own page.

VINTAGE SWEATER AND MATCHING TROUSERS FOR OLD BEARS

A cute light blue and white vintage knitted suit measures about 11 inches all around chest and waist possibly a little bigger unstretched. I estimate a 12 inch bear or around that size for fit. It is a little similar in style to the Steiff 2 pce suits but a bit later. Legs would need to be turned up a little. A delightful outfit to keep the worn bears cosy. SN/A593

WONDERFUL WW1 SILK FLAGS COVER IDEAL FOR SOLDIER BEARS

A real piece of historic World War 1 memorabilia - Silk flag composition with red, blue & gold silk embroidery thread in a Victorian/Edwardian herringbone stitch, significant to this period joining all of the pieces together. Measures approx 21 x 20 inches. The back of cover is an old cotton sateen which has staining. These particular items are extremely hard to find and totally apt for displaying as backdrop to WW1 Soldier bears. SN/B165

c1920s ANTIQUE KNITTED MITTENS for Old Bears Hand Pads

Lovely c1920s crocheted cream wool mittens with pale green wool ties, totally delightful and ideal for bears suffering from cold paws. There is one hole to each of teh mittens but tehy are so cute. Total length is: 5 inches; From tie holes to end 3.5 inches. Width acros widest part when laid flat a spictured 3 inches so idea for say an example of a 24 inch old bear or one with big paws.
